Libby, studio co-owner and the School Director, began her dancing career at a very young age and has over 40 years of professional teaching experience. She graduated from Sumter High, attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri majoring in dance, and then went to Brigham Young University in PMiss Libby is the studio co-owner and the School Director.  She began her dancing career at a very young age and has over 40 years of professional teaching experience.  Libby graduated from Sumter High, and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, where she majored in dance.  She then continued her education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Libby has worked with students in productions throughout the Sumter School District and with Gifted and Talented programs and has judged several local talent contests as well.  She shares her love of dance with anyone who walks through the door!  You may see Miss Libby volunteering her time at the Sumter Little Theater, local schools, retirement homes and she always loves a parade!  She teaches K5 through second grade tap & jazz.

Jennifer began dancing at age three and was one of Miss Libby’s first students when the studio opened in 1989.  She was a member of the original Super Stars competition group with the Rising Stars and was also a member of the Columbia City Jazz Company in Columbia, SC.
Jennifer graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance Performance.  After graduation, she moved to New York City where she continued her training as a dancer, singer, and actress.
Upon relocation to Sumter, Jennifer returned to Miss Libby’s staff as the Director for the Rising Stars competitive dance team, from 2007-2017.  “Miss Jen” has previously served on the staff of Coker College in Hartsville, SC as an adjunct instructor of dance.  She currently serves as the Director of The Companies at Miss Libby’s.  Jennifer choreographs holiday programs, school district events, and was the winner of the last Dancing with the Stars of Sumter.
 Jennifer is married to our Ninja Warrior Director, Seth Reimer, and is the proud mother to J.T. (Ninja Warrior) and Kinslee Reimer (dancer & gymnast).

Torri has been dancing for twenty-two years.  Her journey began in her small hometown of Frazier Park, California with The Dance Studio.  There she studied ballet, jazz, lyrical, tap, and pointe.  She worked her way from a young student to an assistant teacher and, eventually, a teacher of ballet, tap, and jazz.  Her passion for dance only increased after attending summer intensives at the Quinte Ballet School in Ontario Canada and at the San Diego Ballet.  As a member of The Dance Studio’s competition team, Torri had the privilege of traveling throughout Southern California for competitions and conventions; such as Tremaine, Star Bound, Kids Artistic Revue, and Show Stoppers.  Her team won numerous awards and invitations to nationals.
Torri’s dance journey next took her to Eugene, Oregon where she became a “Duck”.  There she attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Modern Dance.  During her time at the UO, she was able to participate in faculty and student dance concerts.  She became an active member of the on-campus club, Dance Oregon.  With Dance Oregon, she was able to travel to Wisconsin, California, and Montana for the American College Dance Festival.  Torri was part of several dance projects at the University of Oregon including choreographing her own piece for her senior project, focusing on the impact and uses of unison.  Post-graduation, Torri began teaching with All That Dance Company in Eugene, Oregon.  Teaching all ages the fundamentals of ballet, she re-discovered her passion for teaching.
Her marriage to Brandon Cole, a member of the United States Air Force, led her dance journey to Sumter, South Carolina where she is eager to teach, inspire, and share her passion of dance at Miss Libby’s School of Dance and Gymnastics.

Miss Holly has been an instructor at Miss Libby’s from the beginning.  YES, the entire 30 years.  While living in Charleston, she studied ballet with Robert Ivey Ballet Company.
Holly teaches three afternoons a week at Miss Libby’s. Her students range in age from two-eight years of age.
Holly is also employed at Oakland Primary School.  Her 27-year-old son, Caleb is a graduate of The Citadel and now attends CIU in Columbia.  Additionally, he serves as the youth minister at Grace Baptist Church.  Miss Holly’s daughter, 24-year-old Savannah Grace, grew up dancing at Miss Libby’s and is a recent graduate of the USC School of Nursing.

Dance has been an important part of Fran’s life for as long as she can remember.  She spent most of her free time from elementary school through college in a dance class.
Growing up, her dance teachers were her idols and she aspired to be the dance teacher who creates in her students the same love of dance as she has.
As an adult, she has been fortunate to share her love of dance in many ways, as a dance school teacher, a show choir choreographer, and with various school and church musicals.
Fran’s expectations are for her students to try hard, have fun, get some physical activity, gain self-confidence, and develop a love and appreciation for dance that will continue throughout their lives.

Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Jordan began her dance training at the age of three under the direction of William Starrett and Mariclare Miranda at the Columbia Conservatory of Dance.  She later joined the Columbia City Ballet’s Junior company (CCBII) and the Conservatory’s competition team.  Through the years she furthered her education at many dance camps, including the South Carolina Governors School of Arts and Humanities, the New York City Rockettes, and summers with the Adrenaline Dance Staff.  In 2008, Jordan was crowned Senior Miss Dance at Kids Artistic Revue and Senior Miss Superstar at Star Systems.  Jordan is a member of the Columbia City Ballet and is entering her eleventh season as a Coryphée.  She is excited to continue her training and pass that knowledge on to her students at Miss Libby’s.

Miss Jill began dancing at the age of three and in her teens, was a member of Miss Libby’s Senior Company.   While in junior high and high school she was a cheerleader for Laurence Manning Academy and performed in the ballet “The Nutcracker”.  In 1993, Jill was given her first opportunity, through Miss Libby’s, to teach dance before heading to the University of South Carolina where she earned her degree in Theater, Speech and Dance.
While at USC, Jill performed three years for the dance team and was Captain her senior year.  After graduating, she was given the opportunity to head the Theater Group at Palmetto School of Performing Arts for two years, as well as teaching many dance and acrobatic classes.  In 2001, she moved to North Carolina and continued teaching dance at numerous dance schools.  Jill received her certification for teaching Fit Kids in 2008 while working in North Carolina.  In that same year, Jill choreographed the winning contemporary routine for Teen Miss Dance.
For three consecutive years, she was chosen to choreograph the dance numbers for the Singing Christmas Tree, and volunteered her time to local Church Praise Dance Groups.  In addition to teaching & choreographing, she enjoys judging for collegiate dance teams as well as high school dance and cheer-leading tryouts.  She has won numerous awards for her choreography, as well as having high scoring soloist and group routines at local, regional and national dance competitions.  
After twenty-five years of teaching tap, jazz, ballet, point, cheer, lyrical, hip hop and modern she is pleased to have settled in Sumter, where it all began.

Ariel is a South Carolina native who began dancing at age two and performed with Miss Libby’s School of Dance and Gymnastics for sixteen years.  By age nine, she earned a spot on the Rising Stars of Sumter competition team where she received training in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, music theatre, and hip hop.  As a Rising Star, Ariel performed as entertainment with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line as well as the Miss South Carolina Teen Pageant.
In 2010, Ariel enrolled at Oklahoma City University as an Entertainment Business major.  While attending OCU, she was chosen to perform in several audition pieces.  She also worked with Oklahoma City University’s American Spirit Dance Company as an assistant sound technician on their “Home for the Holidays” production.  At OCU, she gained knowledge and experience in soundboard operation, performing, and putting together a large-scale show.
Ariel is currently Artistic Director of the Rising Stars of Sumter, the competitive dance team at Miss Libby’s School of Dance.  She also serves as the choreographer for the Sumter High School Show Choir.  Ariel hopes that sharing her love for dance and knowledge in the arts will help inspire her students to become artists who never settle for less than their best.

Rebecca Osteen grew up in Sumter.  She has been with Miss Libby since the age of six.  Rebecca was an original member of the Mini Company, the Junior, Junior Teen, and Senior Companies, as well as competing with the Rising Stars.  She began teaching dance since the fall of 2001 and is proficient in tap, ballet, and jazz.
Rebecca graduated with a BA in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate and is National Board Certified.  She currently teaches kindergarten at Millwood Elementary School.  Rebecca is married to Cory Osteen and they have a daughter, Camdyn, and a son, Easton.

 Jamila Wright

At the age of two, Jamila began dancing at Rhonda Burke School of Dance in Columbus, Ohio.  After moving to South Carolina, she continued her dance training at Dee Crump School of Dance and was a member of the Eboni Dance Theatre, a pre-professional ballet company.
Jamila moved to Sumter in 1995 and enrolled at Miss Libby’s School of Dance.  She was a member of the Company teams and an original member of the Rising Stars Competition Team.  While at Sumter High School, Jamila was a member of the cheerleading and dance teams.  During her senior year, she was selected to perform at the NFL Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Hawaii and received third place and a college scholarship at the All-American Cheer and Dance national competition.
After high school, Jamila attended NC State University, where she was a member of the dance team.  During her summers away from college, Jamila was employed Champion Cheer and Dance as a head instructor and lead choreographer.  As a choreographer, Jamila composed all of the summer camp cheer and dance material and was able to travel to Maryland, Illinois, Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and Hawaii to teach her choreography to high school cheer and dance teams.
Since relocating to Columbia, Jamila has choreographed numerous solo, duo, trio and group dances at high schools and dance studios throughout North and South Carolina.  Her choreography consistently receives overall awards and high score achievements.  Jamila is eager to continue sharing her love of dance and performance at her home studio.

Mary Andrews

Mary is a Sumter native.  Her interest in gymnastics began when her own daughter began competing with the YMCA gymnastics team.  She began her coaching tenure at Miss Libby’s in 2005.  During that time, Mary became a friend, mentor, and coach to many young ladies who have also shared the same love for the sport as she.  Under her tutelage, several of these young ladies have become state, regional, and national winners.
Mary is a USA Gymnastics professional member, safety certified, and certified in gymnastics fundamentals through USAG.  Currently, she also serves as a member of the Amateur Athlete Union for South Carolina gymnastics.
Mary has two children, Travis and Tiffany, as well as two grandchildren.

Angie is a Sumter native and graduated from Sumter High School. Gymnastics began for her at the age of four. Angie was a competitive gymnast through 9th grade. After attending Central Carolina and Florence Darlington Technical Colleges for PTA, she began KAT certification for gymnastics. Since then, she has taken many continuing education classes through USAG, as well as becoming a certified Pilates instructor.  Angie has been an employee of Miss Libby’s School of Dance & Gymnastics since 2000. She is married to Johnny Freeman and they have one son, Tony Freeman, who is currently a Ninja Warrior instructor at Miss Libby’s.

Sherry Graves

Sherry grew up in beautiful Beaufort South Carolina. She married, Nathan Graves, in 2007, and together they have three children, ages nine, seven, and six, who all love gymnastics. The Airforce brought her family to Sumter in 2010, and she joined our Miss Libby’s team in 2015. Sherry is passionate about gymnastics and coaching her students. She has also worked as a certified nurse aid for Alzheimer’s and dementia residents at a retirement community. Helping in children’s ministries and sharing God’s love is another way she enjoys working with children. Sherry is currently taking classes at Central Carolina Tech to finish her degree in Nursing.

Nadia Nunez

Nadia grew up in Lawton, OK. Her gymnastics career began when she was five. She spent eleven years competing reaching level 7.  In 2002, Nadia began working for Bela and Martha Karolyi at their summer camp.  She worked there for six years, serving two years as Camp Director.  During her time there, she was given the opportunity to help with the organization of selecting the 2004 Athens Women’s Olympic team.
Nadia took a brief break from coaching from 2007-2012 to pursue her education in Corporate Communications.  In 2012 she returned to coaching competitive gymnastics in Clarksville, TN.  She began coaching for Miss Libby’s in 2017.
Along with her husband Justin Nunez, they have two children, Aria and Henry.

Heidi is originally from Pismo Beach, California. Her husband, Rodney’s, military career brought them to Shaw Air Force Base and Sumter. Miss Libby’s is so happy they loved Sumter so much they decided to return after his retirement. Heidi earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, the scientific study of human movement, from Midwestern State University.  It was there that she received her certification to teach K-12 physical education.  Heidi has taught middle school physical education and enjoys working with children.  She loves all sports, but gymnastics took a special place in her heart when her daughters began participating in the sport.  She now enjoys helping young gymnasts achieve their pursuits and instills a love of gymnastics in all her students.

Spring is originally from Western Kansas and moved to Sumter in 2009 to join her husband who is a member of the United States Air Force. She has a degree in photography from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Growing up with a parent who taught music brought all sorts of art forms into Spring’s life at a young age. Playing an instrument and participating in school plays became second nature to her. She also participated in gymnastics, dance, and other sports throughout childhood. When she graduated high school, she sought a job that would fulfill her passion of working not only in a profession she enjoyed but working with children to make a difference in their lives. Spring taught gymnastics in her home town before moving to Sumter. She has been a part of the Miss Libby’s staff since early 2013. Spring strives to bring her enthusiasm, creativity, and fun to the children she works with every day. Her goal is to not only help students reach their goals in gymnastics and tumbling, but to take that same confidence into the world to achieve anything they want.

Though Katie attended Sumter High School, she graduated from Heritage High School in Conyers, Georgia. During her gymnastics career, Katie competed throughout the East Coast and internationally in Australia and New Zealand.  She competed in Boston, MA at the Gymnastics Academy of Boston, Carolina Gymnastics in Columbia, SC, and at the Atlanta School of Gymnastics in Tucker, GA. Katie competed at Level 10 and was state champion on numerous events in Massachusetts and South Carolina. She was a national competitor for the USGA, AAU, and USAIGC. Katie was a member of the University of Georgia gymnastics team in 1995. After knee surgery she was forced to withdraw from competitive gymnastics. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in education and is an accredited Level 9 gymnastics judge with twenty-five years of coaching experience. Katie is married to Rick Jones and they have two daughters, Karsen and Ryann and their son, Thomas.

Erika Zito

Erika enrolled in gymnastics at Miss Libby’s at the age of five and began competing as an Elite Star at six years old. She graduated from St. Francis Xavier High School, and moved to Greenwood SC, to attend Lander University.  Erika received a BS degree in Psychology. She is USAG certified and has eight years coaching experience. We are thrilled that Erika has recently moved back to Sumter and joined our Miss Libby’s team.

Seth served as General Manager at Miss Libby’s from 2009-2015 and is now the consultant for Miss Libby’s School of Dance & Gymnastics and the director of our Ninja Warrior program.
In 2011, Seth was introduced to the television show “America Ninja Warrior.” As a former men’s gymnastics coach, he immediately recognized the culture that this program was developing and set out to start the “Sumter Ninja Warriors” (unrelated to the national program). It has become one of the fastest growing areas at Miss Libby’s. 
Prior to moving to Sumter, Seth was employed as a Performance Manager at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City, where he was promoted to the position of Operations Manager.
Many times you will find Seth “behind the scenes” acting as Production Coordinator for Miss Libby’s dance recitals, Gymnastics Exhibitions and the Tuomey Foundation Sumter Arts Showcase. He is employed full time as the Cultural Manager for the City of Sumter to operate the Sumter Opera House. There, his is responsible for programming the concerts and events which entertain and educate Sumter and the greater Southeast region.  Check out what’s playing at www.sumteroperahouse.com

Adelyn Bryson Pair

At age six, Adelyn began training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip-hop.  In middle school and high school, she was a member of the Ballet Gloria Dance Company in Knoxville, TN, and a cheerleader.
Addi received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Maryville College in Maryville, TN.  While in college, she was a member, choreographer, and co-captain of the Maryville College Dance Ensemble.
Addi has many years of experience teaching dance and gymnastics, as well as coaching cheerleading.  She greatly enjoys encouraging students of all ages to pursue the arts, and hopes to always share her passion with others.
     Addi was recently married to a Sumter native and Deputy for the Sumter County Sheriff’s Department.  The newly-weds moved to Sumter from Knoxville, TN.  She is currently attending USC to obtain her master’s degree in social work.  In her free time, Addi enjoys photography, watching sports, and spending time with family.

Allison is a native of Sumter and a former student of Miss Libby Singleton. Her daughters Tiffani, Taylor and Tanner attended dance at Miss Libby’s for 20 years collectively. Allison joined Miss Libby’s as a member of the office staff in 2004 and was promoted to Office Manager in 2013. In July of 2016, Miss Libby’s was pleased to advance her to the position of General Manager.

Cindy Baker

A lifetime resident of Sumter, Cindy began her career at Miss Libby’s in 1990.  Miss Cindy loved her sixteen years of working with and getting to know the parents and many children who entered the doors at the studio.  Her daughter, Dana, was a member of the original Rising Stars competition group.  In 2006, Cindy accepted a position at Sumter Orthopedics, where she also loved helping patients with any of their needs; she retired in 2017.  She was excited to be welcomed back to her former home at Miss Libby’s in May of 2017.  She delights in seeing previous students now bringing their children in to experience the love of dance and/or gymnastics.
Miss Cindy is married to Eddie Baker.  Together, they have a son, Tug, who lives in Columbia with his wife and their three-year-old son, Oscar.  Their daughter, Dana Baker McCarty, is a resident of Durham, NC.  She and her husband Brett have a three-year-old son, Micah, and a beautiful new baby, Lila Rose.
In her spare time, Miss Cindy enjoys working with her church and other ministries. She especially enjoys spending time with her three grandchildren.

Katherine Brogdon

Katherine began dancing with Miss Libby at the age of two and continued for sixteen years.  She was a member of Miss Libby’s Senior Company.  She joined Miss Libby’s as a staff member in 2012, and loves coming to work everyday in the place that meant so much to her growing up. 
Katherine is a graduate of Wilson Hall and a proud alumnus of Clemson University where she majored in Psychology.  She is a member of the Sumter Junior Welfare League and volunteers as a youth leader at her church, First Presbyterian of Sumter.  In her spare time, Katherine loves Clemson football, shopping, and going to the beach.

Anne has only been employed at Miss Libby’s for two years, but she is no stranger to the family.  She first came as a dance mom, whose daughter, Noëlle, spent fourteen years training as a dancer.  After retiring from the public school system as a music educator, she decided to continue serving the Sumter community through the Miss Libby's family.
Anne brings with her many years of experience in education, organization and inter-personal skills. You will most likely see her working at the Annex front desk.

AshLee Holloman

Throughout her childhood and teen years, AshLee studied dance at Miss Libby's School of Dance & Gymnastics.  She graduated from Sumter High School in 2011 and returned to join the office staff in the summer of 2015.  Ashlee is a member of Wise Drive Baptist Church, where she is an active member of their Praise Team.  While working at the studio, AshLee continued her studies at the Sumter Campus and graduated from USC-Upstate, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.  She accepted a position at Kingsbury Elementary School and she will be teaching third grade this upcoming year.

Adelyn (Addi) recently got married and moved to South Carolina from Knoxville, TN. She is currently attending USC to obtain her master’s degree in social work. Starting at age 6, she began training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip-hop. She was also a cheerleader.
Addi received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Maryville College in Maryville, TN. While in college, she gained experience being an administrative assistant for non-profits, dance and gymnastics studios, and other offices. She also has experience in Social Media and event management. 
In her free time, she enjoys photography, watching sports, and spending time with family. Addi loves to share her passion of the arts with everyone she meets and is excited to join the Miss Libby’s team to help children and families reach their artistic goals.
