Competitive Ninja Warrior

Ages 7-17 years old

     New this year, our first Ninja Warrior Competition team in Sumter, SC. These athletes will develop a new level of purpose, discover the incredible ninja community, and participate in competitions throughout the Southeast. This program provides a progressive environment and supportive atmosphere for practices and competitions. It is our vision for these athletes to become friends & training partners. The dedicated coaches of our ninja program are invested in their emotional well-being, how they are doing in school, and their athletic progress in this intensely-developing sport.

Competitions

     Bi-monthly, we hold an in-house competition called Game Day. These competitions include the skills they’ve learned & new obstacles they have never seen. The ninja team will learn how to break a course into sections and be coached on how an obstacle could be completed, leaving room for personal creativity.

Game Day competition dates are:

September 21, 2019
November 23rd, 2019
January 11th, 2020
March 14th, 2020
May 9th, 2020

     The Youth Ninja Team will also compete as a representative of Sumter Ninja Warrior at UNAA (Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association) and AWG (Athlete Warrior Games) competitions, fortunate for this year being hosted in house. In addition to these two competitions, team members will be required to compete in a minimum of three other competitions hosted at other gyms.

  • Kinetic Heights – (Charlotte, NC) UNAA – October 13th

  • Ninja Kour – (Atlanta, GA) UNAA - November 15th & 16th

  • Rock Solid Warrior – (Holly Springs, NC) AWG - November 9th & AWG – (Regional Finals *Must qualify) January 4th

  • Oconee Ninja World – (Watkinsville, GA)

Exclusive Team Practices

Tuesdays & Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 pm

     One class will be divided across two important elements of movement:

1. Ninja’s will drill the specifics on posture and execution of two different obstacle lines or concepts, then move on to strength and conditioning.

2. Competition training that will consist of running full timed courses centered around the movements they learned earlier in the week

     If you can’t make one of the weekly team only practices, you can register for another Ninja Class that correspond to your age group/level.
